Responsibilities

Quality Leadership \& Governance

• Lead and maintain the Quality Management System across assigned facilities.
• Ensure standardization and alignment between assigned locations and Rig Technologies.
• Strategic development and support to site Quality teams.
• Conduct Management Reviews with Operational Managers from each Quality Group.

Standardization \& Audit Management

• Ensure compliance with API, ISO, customer, and product requirements.
• Ensure use of standardized Global technical and Quality documents, processes, Lessons Learned and procedures.
• Plan, lead, and support internal and external audits (API, customer, regulatory).

Risk Management \& Contingency Planning

• Lead risk assessments (Process risks, supplier risks).
• Ensure mitigation plans and contingency plans are developed, maintained, and tested.
• Escalate high-risk quality issues to leadership with clear data and recommendations.

Nonconformance \& Corrective Action

• Manage NCR, CAR, and customer complaints across sites.
• Monitor trends and prevent recurrence of systemic quality issues.
• Interface with customers on significant quality issues when required.

Manufacturing \& Process Quality

• Support manufacturing process control, inspection, and testing activities.
• Ensure Quality Plans, routers, and other associated documents are current and effective.

Metrics \& Continuous Improvement

• Establish and monitor quality KPIs (NCR trends, COQ, audit results, supplier performance).
• Use data to drive continuous improvement initiatives.

People Development \& Culture

• Develop quality talent through coaching, training, and performance management.
• Promote a proactive, prevention-focused quality culture.
• Reinforce accountability for quality at all organizational levels.

Required

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, or related field or 10\+ years of quality experience in oil \& gas or heavy manufacturing.
• Strong working knowledge of API Q1 and ISO 9001\.
• Experience supporting or leading audits and corrective action programs.
• Proven leadership experience across multiple sites or functions.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience with ERP’s, data analysis and presentation tools.

Preferred

• CQE, CQA, Six Sigma (Green/Black Belt), or equivalent certification.
• Background in machining, welding, assembly, or pressure equipment manufacturing.
• Experience managing customer quality relationships.
