Job Description

The ideal candidate will be responsible for building out our sales and marketing strategy, sales forecasting reports, and sales pipeline. You will then monitor our sales performance with the goal of expanding our company's market share. Your collaborative nature and will help you succeed when coordinating with external distributors and internal sales and marketing teams.

Job Responsibilities :

n Area Sales Manager (ASM) for retail is responsible for overseeing and driving sales performance across geographic territory. The role involves setting and achieving sales targets, managing and motivating the local sales teams, developing and executing sales strategies, and maintaining strong relationships with key clients and partners. Key duties include analyzing sales data, managing inventory and store performance, ensuring brand consistency, and reporting on market trends to higher management.

Key responsibilities

  • Sales strategy and execution:

Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve or exceed regional sales targets.

  • Team management and motivation:

Lead, coach, train, and motivate a team of sales representatives and store managers to achieve individual and store-level goals.

Performance monitoring:

Monitor store performance, key performance indicators (KPIs), and sales data to identify gaps and opportunities for growth.

Client and stakeholder management:

Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, channel partners, and internal stakeholders.

Market analysis:

Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify new business opportunities and adjust strategies accordingly.

Operational management:

Ensure efficient store operations, including inventory management, stock levels, and consistent brand quality across all locations in the area.

Reporting:

Create and present regular sales reports, forecasts, and performance analyses to senior management.

Required skills and qualifications

Strong leadership, motivational, and interpersonal skills.

  • Communication:

Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.

  • Analytical:

Strong numerical and analytical abilities to interpret data and make informed decisions.

Willingness to travel frequently within the assigned territory.
