Asset Management Associate
This privately held real estate investment, development, and management firm operates a nationally diversified platform across office, hospitality, residential, industrial, and mixed-use sectors. With decades of experience and over 80 million square feet developed, the firm delivers high-quality, large-scale projects across key U.S. markets, backed by strong institutional relationships and an integrated, full-service approach.
This newly created role supports a U.S. hospitality and mixed-use portfolio, focusing on financial analysis, asset performance, and reporting. The Associate will work closely with Asset Management to drive value creation across operating assets and support acquisitions and development initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Support asset performance across an eight-property hospitality and mixed-use portfolio
- Build and maintain financial models, cash flow forecasts, and operating pro formas
- Analyze monthly financials and variances to budget and underwriting
- Prepare lender and investor reporting; track loan covenants and escrow activity
- Develop dashboards and reporting tools for portfolio and asset-level performance
- Assist with annual budgeting and ongoing forecast updates
- Monitor operating results and capital expenditures to ensure alignment with business plans
- Attend asset-level meetings; track and follow up on key action items
- Review key agreements (leases, management, loan documents) and ensure compliance
- Support due diligence and execution of capital events (refinancings, dispositions, partner transactions)
- Contribute to ad hoc analysis and reporting requests across stakeholders
Qualifications
- 2\+ years of experience in real estate asset management or related field (hospitality preferred)
- Strong financial modeling and analytical skillset
- Understanding of investment returns, waterfalls, and loan structures
- Proficiency in Excel; familiarity with Yardi is a plus
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Ability to work independently and collaborate across teams
- Bachelor's degree in real estate, finance, or a related field preferred
- Willingness to travel up to 25%
