Job Description
Position Responsibilities
The role is responsible for managing the full spectrum of people and culture operations for Indonesia, ensuring compliance with local employment laws, delivering a positive employee experience, and partnering with business leaders to support company growth.
The role serves as the primary HR contact for employees and managers while aligning local practices with regional HR strategies.
- Ensure execution and maintenance of daily people operations matters (eg: accurate employee records, people movement, administer attendance, leave and benefits application based on the approved guideline, statutory compliance and confidentiality), involving of employee lifecycle with the Company.
- Manage and deliver the end-to-end recruitment activities (eg: interview coordination, contract arrangement, employer branding, onboarding) aligning to regional standards and meeting the local workforce demands.
- Provide practical HR advice and coaching to leaders for structure change and business initiatives- employee engagement, workforce planning.
- Resolve any employees’ inquiries and workplace issues professionally and effectively promoting positive work environment.
- Coordinate payroll inputs with internal stakeholders and external vendor (eg: Payroll vendor, BPJS and other governing authorities), ensuring monthly payroll are processed timely and accurately complying to the local statutory law and relevant governance.
- Ensure effective and timely performance appraisal conducted and where applicable, arrange suitable learning and development initiatives.
- Keep people and culture policies and practices aligned with local governance and regional standards, where applicable coordinate the audit from legal authorities.
- Primary contact for regional people \& culture team. Required to work closely with regional people \& culture teams on policy implementation and regional projects, including support of the regional people \& culture initiatives rollout, reporting and etc.
Job Competencies / Requirements
Qualifications \& Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 5-8 years of experience in Human Resources Operations or HR Generalist roles.
- Ability to communicate good and professional business English.
- Experience in handling HR operations independently within a startup, SME, or fast-growing environment is preferred.
- Advanced knowledge and effective problem-solving evolving to Indonesia employment practices, payroll coordination, and statutory compliance is required.
- Experience working with large, regional structure or multinational companies is an advantage.
Skills \& Knowledge
- Strong understanding of Indonesia Employment Law, payroll administration, and statutory requirements.
- Hands-on experience managing employee lifecycle processes from hiring to separation.
- Strong knowledge of HR operations, documentation, and process administration.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities independently.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- High level of integrity and discretion when handling confidential information.
- Digital proficient in Lark, Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, and HRIS/attendance management systems.
- Comfortable working in a startup environment with the flexibility to balance strategic coordination and operational execution.
