Assistant Manager, Quality Management System

Job Description / Responsibility

• Develop, implement, and maintain QMS policies, procedures, and SOPs across all departments.
• Ensure compliance with buyer standards (M\&S, GAP, H\&M, etc.) and international quality standards (ISO, etc.).
• Lead internal audits and coordinate external audits (buyer, certification, and compliance audits).
• Monitor CAPA (Corrective and Preventive Actions) and ensure timely closure of audit findings.
• Establish quality KPIs and monitor performance across cutting, sewing, finishing, and packing processes.
• Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) for quality issues and implement corrective actions.
• Provide training to factory teams on QMS, quality standards, and continuous improvement tools.
• Ensure proper documentation control and record-keeping as per QMS requirements.
• Collaborate with Production, IE, Technical, and Merchandising teams to improve product quality and reduce defects.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives (Lean, 6S, Kaizen) across the factory.
• Prepare and present quality reports to management.

Educational Requirements

• Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Industrial Engineering

Experience Requirements

• 6 to 8 year(s)
• The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
• Multinational Companies,Garments,Textile

Additional Requirements

• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, 6S, and Kaizen tools.
• Experience with documentation control systems and ERP.
• Familiarity with lingerie product quality standards is an added advantage.
• Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel and reporting tools).
