The Role

As an Assistant Project Manager (APM) at I-Kota, you will play a critical role in supporting the Project Manager and Superintendent to ensure the successful execution of our projects. This is a high-growth position designed for a detail-oriented professional who is ready to take "Ownership" of the administrative and technical foundations of a build. You will be deeply involved in the day-to-day operations of the project, gaining hands-on experience in the "Integrated" I-Kota methodology.

Base Salary

: $75,000-$100,000 annually (Dependent on experience)

Key Responsibilities

  • Project Support:

Assist the Project Manager in the daily management of project schedules, budgets, and subcontractor performance.

  • Document Control:

Lead the management of RFIs, submittals, and shop drawings. Ensure all project documents are organized, updated, and distributed to the field team via

Procore

.

  • Subcontractor Coordination:

Support the buyout process and assist in managing subcontractor relationships, ensuring all parties are aligned with the project scope and schedule.

  • Meeting Management:

Prepare agendas and record detailed minutes for OAC (Owner-Architect-Contractor) and subcontractor meetings.

  • Quality \& Safety:

Assist in on-site inspections and the "Punch List" process to ensure the highest level of craftsmanship. Support the field team in maintaining a culture of safety.

  • Financial Assistance:

Assist with the processing of monthly subcontractor invoices, change orders, and project cost tracking.

  • Collaboration:

Act as a "dependable team player" between the office and the field, ensuring clear communication across all project stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Experience:

1–3 years of experience in construction management or a related field. Internship experience with a General Contractor is a plus.

  • Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.

  • Technical Proficiency:

Experience with

Procore

, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office Suite. Familiarity with scheduling software (MS Project or Primavera P6) is preferred.
