We Search People are happily working with a Commercial General Contractor that has a strong pipeline of work and are now looking to bring in an Assistant Construction Superintendent to support project delivery across multiple sites.

Position Overview

The Assistant Construction Superintendent supports the Superintendent in overseeing day-to-day field operations for commercial construction projects. This role assists with coordinating subcontractors, tracking schedules, maintaining safety compliance, and ensuring projects progress efficiently and to quality standards.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to grow into a lead Superintendent role, gaining hands-on experience across all phases of construction from mobilization through closeout.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in overseeing daily on-site construction activities to ensure safety, quality, and schedule adherence.
• Support the coordination and supervision of subcontractors, labor, and material deliveries.
• Work closely with the Superintendent and project management team to resolve field issues.
• Help monitor project schedules and report on progress against milestones.
• Participate in site inspections and help enforce safety standards and compliance.
• Assist with punch lists, project closeout activities, and turnover processes.
• Maintain accurate daily reports, site documentation, and progress tracking.
