Job Description

About the role

The Associate, Account Manager at Spanx will support our domestic wholesale department store accounts with ownership of select accounts. As a member of the Sales team, you will play an integral role in further achieving, maintaining, and surpassing the hyper-growth journey that is Spanx.

This role is based in our Atlanta headquarters,

requires weekly in-office work Tuesday-Thursday

, and reports to our Senior Account Manager.

You’ll love it because you will…

  • Support day-to-day management of domestic wholesale (department store) accounts
  • Partner with senior account managers to execute core business operations and account needs
  • Develop and manage monthly shipping forecasts for key accounts
  • Track and analyze sales performance, including weekly/door sales, turns, and margins
  • Identify trends, risks, and growth opportunities across the business
  • Manage markdowns, credit issues, mis-shipments, and RTV processes
  • Maintain reporting logs (shipping, cancellations, discounts, etc.)
  • Coordinate with warehouse and cross-functional teams on order execution
  • Oversee EDI processes and ensure accuracy
  • Build and monitor monthly OTB plans by account
  • Lead monthly account calls and ongoing communication
  • Support and execute seasonal market appointments end-to-end
  • Partner cross-functionally on advertising and sample coordination
  • Conduct store visits to assess performance and opportunities
  • Assist with merchandising directives and training initiatives

Qualifications

We require....

  • 3-4 years’ experience in account management or sales
  • Wholesale experience preferred
  • Familiarity with EDI and order management systems
  • Proven experience in customer relationship management and business development
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Strong organizational skills with ability to manage cross-functional partnerships
  • Excellent communication skills across internal and external stakeholders
  • Confident presentation skills
  • Ability to identify, articulate, and escalate business needs and risks
