Job Description

About the Job

We are seeking an investment professional to join a multi‑strategy platform that deploys flexible capital across private and public markets. The role offers broad exposure to credit, structured equity, and opportunistic investments while working in a lean, high‑impact environment. This position provides substantial responsibility, direct deal involvement, and the opportunity to shape transaction outcomes from start to finish.

Position Overview

The Associate will support the full lifecycle of investments, including sourcing support, evaluation, underwriting, structuring, execution, and ongoing portfolio monitoring. The role involves significant analytical work, engagement with company management teams and external partners, and cross‑functional collaboration with internal legal, risk, and operational groups. This is a strong fit for someone who enjoys independent ownership, fast-paced decision‑making, and exposure across asset classes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct financial modeling, valuation, and scenario analyses to support investment decisions.
  • Lead due diligence processes across commercial, financial, operational, and market workstreams.
  • Prepare investment materials and present findings to internal committees.
  • Coordinate transaction execution, including structuring, documentation, and closing processes.
  • Monitor existing investments, assess performance drivers, and update forecasts and risk assessments.
  • Perform sector research to understand industry trends, competitive dynamics, and transaction opportunities.
  • Work closely with internal legal, accounting, operations, and risk teams to support investment execution.
  • Engage with management teams, external advisors, and co-investors throughout the deal lifecycle.
  • Support the enhancement of internal tools, analytics, and processes, including the use of AI‑enabled platforms.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field.
  • 3-6 years of experience in credit investing, private equity, investment banking (M\&A or restructuring preferred), or consulting.
  • Strong modeling, analytical, and problem‑solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and financial analysis.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple workstreams in a fast‑paced environment with high attention to detail.
  • Comfort interacting with senior executives and external stakeholders.
  • Self‑motivated, collaborative, and able to work effectively in a lean team structure.
  • Familiarity with capital markets and structured investment strategies.
  • Demonstrated ability to use AI tools responsibly to enhance efficiency and insight generation.
