Role Description
The Associate Brand Manager – Better Than Brands is a full-time hybrid role based in Rome, GA, with flexibility for some work from home. This role supports the planning and execution of brand strategies for the Better Than Brands portfolio, including innovation, packaging, pricing, and promotion initiatives. The Associate Brand Manager will analyze market, consumer, and competitive data to identify growth opportunities and provide insights that guide brand plans and marketing activities. Day-to-day responsibilities include collaborating with cross-functional teams (such as sales, R\&D, finance, operations, and supply chain) to deliver projects on time and within budget, as well as coordinating with external agencies and partners on advertising, digital content, and in-store programs. The role also helps track brand performance, manage budgets, prepare presentations and reports, and ensure consistent brand positioning across all channels.
Qualifications
- Brand and product management capabilities, including experience or strong interest in brand strategy, positioning, and portfolio management.
- Marketing and commercialization skills, such as supporting go-to-market plans, promotional programs, and collaboration with sales and agency partners.
- Analytical and research skills, including comfort working with syndicated data, consumer insights, financial metrics, and performance dashboards.
- Project management and organizational abilities to manage timelines, coordinate cross-functional work, and prioritize multiple initiatives.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build clear presentations, reports, and persuasive recommendations.
- Proficiency with business productivity tools (e.g., Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and willingness to learn new marketing and analytics platforms.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience; CPG or food industry experience is a plus.
- Demonstrated ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a hybrid environment, with attention to detail and results orientation.
Salary:
$80,000 - $100,000 annually
