Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Associate Buyer to join our growing team within a contemporary luxury brand. This individual will support the buying function across key product categories, helping to drive assortment strategies that reflect the brand’s vision, customer expectations, and overall business objectives.

The ideal candidate is passionate about fashion, merchandising, and the luxury consumer, with a strong eye for product and an understanding of a fast-paced, brand-driven environment. This role will partner cross-functionally with internal teams to support seasonal market preparation, product analysis, reporting, and assortment execution.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the buying team in executing seasonal assortment strategies across designated categories
• Assist with product selection, assortment planning, and purchase order management
• Analyze sales performance and market trends to identify business opportunities
• Maintain reporting tools, product data, and assortment recaps
• Partner with merchandising, planning, and cross-functional teams to support business needs
• Assist in market appointments, sample tracking, and seasonal milestone preparation
• Help ensure accuracy across product information, pricing, and delivery timelines

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in buying, merchandising, or a related retail/fashion function preferred
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• ADVANCED Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPS)
• Analytical mindset with proficiency in spreadsheets and reporting
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
• Interest in luxury, contemporary fashion, and consumer trends
