About the Opportunity:
The ASSOCIATE DATA ENGINEER will transform usage data into actionable insights by developing and maintaining data pipelines using modern cloud technologies. This role supports data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement of data assets across the enterprise, contributing to the organization's mission to enhance health outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- Transform usage data into structured datasets and analytical outputs using cloud data integration tools
- Design, build, and maintain data integration workflows and ETL/ELT pipelines
- Utilize AI tools to automate data engineering tasks and improve processes
- Develop and deploy AI-powered data solutions with responsible AI practices
- Evaluate new technology trends for pipeline optimization and innovation
- Write efficient SQL queries and data transformation scripts
- Monitor and troubleshoot data processing workflows to ensure data quality
- Document data pipelines, data mapping, and system architectures
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum 1 year experience in data engineering, analysis, or software development
- Experience with relational databases and SQL
- Experience with programming or scripting languages for data processing (e.g., Python, Scala, Java)
- Basic knowledge of ETL/ELT pipelines, data transformation, and data warehousing
- Willingness to learn Google Cloud Data Fusion
- Ability to analyze and troubleshoot data quality and pipeline performance issues
Pay Range and Compensation Package:
- Salary range: $60,200 to $107,400 annually based on full-time employment
- Additional benefits include a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase, and 401(k) contributions, subject to eligibility
