About You

You are an experienced, strategic, and hands-on marketing operations leader who enjoys owning, optimizing, and scaling marketing technology and processes. You are comfortable managing the tools, data, and workflows that power campaigns and support sales growth for educational publishing customers.

You thrive at bridging strategic vision with practical execution, improving the efficiency and effectiveness of marketing initiatives for both print and digital educational products serving grades PreK–12\. You are systems-minded and skilled at turning data-driven insights into scalable processes that drive adoption, engagement, and sales across academic and religion channels.

You are also highly collaborative and work effectively with Product and Digital Marketing, Web Ecommerce, Sales Management, and Sales Executives to support shared business goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end lead lifecycle management. Design, implement, and continuously optimize lead scoring, and routing across HubSpot and Salesforce to ensure qualified leads reach the right sales reps quickly, with full visibility from inquiry through closed-won.
  • Build and maintain automation workflows. Lead management, campaign tracking, scoring, and routing
  • Campaign Operations. Coordinates to convert leads generated from the execution of multichannel campaigns including email, social media, and digital advertising with the Academic and Religion Marketing Directors and the Digital Marketing Manager. Ensure our campaign calendars are maintained on time and across product lines for optimum sales.
  • Build and maintain revenue reporting and funnel analytics. Track and analyze campaign performance, ROI, and audience insights translating into actionable recommendations for continuous improvement. Develop dashboards and reporting that connect marketing activity to pipeline and revenue, including source attribution, campaign influence, conversion rates by stage, and velocity metrics — providing sales leadership with a single source of truth for funnel performance.
  • Drive CRM data integrity and martech stack operations. Manage the HubSpot–Salesforce integration, enforce data hygiene standards (deduplication, enrichment, field data governance), and oversee integrations across the broader sales and marketing tech stack to ensure reps operate on clean, reliable data.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration. Partner closely with Product and Digital Marketing, Sales, Platform, Salesforce, and IT Teams to ensure alignment on product launches and marketing initiatives. Works with Sales to manage and report on leads through the sales funnel. Coordinate lead generating campaigns with Product Marketing and Digital Marketing. Effectively integrate Marketing \& Sales with local promotions to drive results.
  • Manages Vendor Relationship. Manage predictive marketing software company, AgilOne, which includes initiating and executing statement of work and project management implementation of custom features to our account to provide marketing campaigns more customized to Sadlier’s business.

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field
  • 5–7\+ years of experience in marketing operations within educational publishing, trade publishing, or edtech
  • Strong experience with CRM and marketing automation platforms such as Salesforce, HubSpot, and customer data platforms
  • Proficiency with analytics, SEO, website insight tools, Excel, and marketing performance reporting
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience with digital asset management systems and marketing workflows
  • Strong communication, collaboration, problem-solving, and project management skills
  • Understanding of educational data privacy regulations such as COPPA and FERPA
  • Experience with SQL and/or data visualization tools is a plus

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in educational publishing or edtech marketing
  • Understanding of audience segmentation and data-driven marketing strategies across PreK–12 education audiences
  • Experience supporting sales enablement initiatives and aligning marketing operations with sales goals
  • Ability to track and measure marketing impact, campaign performance, and ROI
  • Passion for education and creating efficient, scalable marketing processes

Compensation \& Culture

This role offers a competitive annual salary range of $95,000–$105,000, commensurate with experience, as well as comprehensive benefits and generous paid time off. You’ll join a passionate, collaborative, and creative team that genuinely enjoys working together and making an impact.
