Job Description

What You’ll Do

  • Support the product team as an Associate Product Manager to define and deliver product features that improve student and counselor experiences
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, design, customer success, sales) to translate user needs into clear product requirements and prioritized roadmaps
  • Conduct user research, interviews, and usability testing to validate problems and proposed solutions
  • Analyze product metrics and user behavior to measure feature impact and inform iteration (dashboarding, A/B testing, cohort analysis)
  • Write clear user stories, acceptance criteria, and wireframe-level requirements; partner with designers on flows and prototypes
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies and help maintain the backlog, sprint planning, and release coordination
  • Communicate product updates and roadmaps to internal stakeholders and help collect feedback from customers and partners
  • Support go-to-market activities including release notes, training materials, and onboarding improvements

What We’re Looking For

  • 0–3 years of experience in product management or a related role (early-career product managers, recent graduates, or career changers encouraged)
  • Strong customer empathy with a desire to work on education-focused products
  • Comfortable working with data — able to analyze metrics, form hypotheses, and measure outcomes (SQL or analytics tool experience a plus)
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills; ability to write concise user stories and present product rationale
  • Demonstrated collaboration with engineering and design teams; familiarity with Agile processes (JIRA, Asana, or similar)
  • Problem-solving mindset and willingness to learn in a fast-paced start-up / scale-up environment
  • Ability to balance multiple priorities and deliver on commitments

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in education technology, K–12 or higher education workflows, or college \& career readiness products
  • Basic SQL, Google Analytics, Mixpanel, or Amplitude experience
  • Experience running user interviews, usability tests, or customer discovery
  • Familiarity with wireframing tools (Figma, Sketch, Balsamiq) and product prototyping
  • Coursework or internship experience in product, UX, analytics, or software development
