Audio Visual Engineer

A-V Services Inc., a leading Audio/ Video company with multiple fortune 100 contracts within the financial, pharmaceutical and computing industries, seeks a skilled AV Engineer. The ideal candidate will possess the ability to lead the technical design and engineering of central rack room and AV infrastructure.

Objectives:

Lead technical design and engineering for the central rack room and AV infrastructure, focusing on ST2110 standards

.

Role and Responsibilities:

• Develop system architecture and signal flow diagrams with SI’s.
• Specify and validate AV hardware, software, and network components.
• Oversee integration requirements and interoperability testing in the lab and during “build”
• Ensure scalability and futureproofing.

Job Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Extensive experience in AV system design and engineering, with a focus on ST2110 standards
• Experience overseeing integration requirements and conducting interoperability testing in both lab and build environments
• Demonstrated ability to design scalable and future-proof AV solutions
• In-depth knowledge of AV and IT protocols, standards, and best practices
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
• Strong project management and organizational abilities
• Effective communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CTS, CTS-D, AVIXA, or ST2110-specific certifications) are a plus
