Auditor

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented trial balance technician to join our audit team. We concentrate in the HOA and Condo Industry, allthough industry specific knowledge is not a requirement.The ideal candidate will possess strong financial acumen and a thorough understanding of accounting principles and practices. This role involves evaluating financial processes, ensuring compliance with regulations, and providing insights to improve financial reporting and operations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive audits of financial statements and reports to ensure accuracy and compliance with GAAP.
• Analyze financial data and prepare detailed reports outlining findings, recommendations, and areas for improvement.
• Evaluate internal controls and processes to identify risks and recommend enhancements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure adherence to financial policies and procedures.
• Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to auditing and financial reporting.
• Assist in the preparation of audit documentation in accordance with regulatory requirements.
• Provide training and guidance on financial concepts to staff as needed.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in auditing.
• Proficiency in financial software applications.
• Strong understanding GAAP principles.
• Excellent skills in financial report writing and analysis.
• Ability to communicate complex financial concepts clearly
• Strong attention to detail with excellent analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
