Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Embedded Systems Engineer with strong expertise in both hardware/firmware and software development within safety-critical aerospace environments.

The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience with

both DO-254 and DO-178 standards

and a solid understanding of certification processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and verify hardware and firmware in compliance with DO-254 guidelines
• Develop and maintain embedded software in accordance with DO-178 standards
• Participate in system architecture, requirements definition, and traceability activities
• Support verification, validation, and certification processes for safety-critical systems
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including systems, software, and hardware engineering
• Produce and review technical documentation required for regulatory compliance

Required Qualifications

• Prior experience in the aerospace or avionics industry
• Hands-on experience with both DO-254 (hardware/firmware) and DO-178 (software) standards (candidates with only one will not be considered)
• Experience working on safety-critical systems with Design Assurance Levels (DAL) A, B, or C
• Strong understanding of embedded systems design and development
• Experience with verification \& validation processes in regulated environments
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field
