About the Role:
The Financial Controller will oversee the U.S. financial operations of A.P.C.’s retail business, ensuring accurate reporting, strong financial controls, and clear financial insights that support strategic decision-making. This role will work closely with leadership to maintain financial integrity, optimize processes, and help guide the business through thoughtful financial planning and analysis.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee U.S. financial reporting and ensure accuracy of financial statements
- Manage budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning (FP\&A) processes
- Supervise inventory accounting and retail cost management
- Maintain and improve internal financial controls and compliance
- Provide strategic financial analysis and insights to support leadership decisions
- Partner with internal teams and external partners to ensure efficient financial operations
- Support month-end and year-end closing processes
Qualifications
- Experience Managing / Participating in an Audit or Annual Review
- Advanced Excel Skills (Pivot Tables, V-Lookup etc)
- Experience with SAP, Shopfiy, RLM is a Plus, (Netsuite, Oracle or Other GL/ERP Required)
- Enthusiasm and excellent communications skills (Knowledge of French a Plus)
- BA/BS degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field required.
- A minimum of 7\+ years experience in Retail, Wholesale, and e-commerce sectors required
