Position Summary
The technical product owner/business analyst will collaborate with IT and business stakeholders to define and deliver solutions aligned with business goals. This role involves managing a complex project that includes establishing a website with multiple interfaces and integrating with various external applications. The candidate will serve as a key facilitator between business and IT, ensuring clear understanding of requirements and smooth project execution throughout its lifecycle, utilizing proven planning, analysis, and solution design methodologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development and delivery of solutions on a complex project involving multiple interfaces and integrations.
- Manage project dependencies and coordinate with the Delivery lead to drive tasks to completion, escalating issues as needed.
- Work effectively as the primary liaison between Business and IT to understand and translate business needs into technical solutions.
- Plan, elicit, analyze, validate, and manage project requirements, business processes, and high-level solution designs.
- Design data mappings, conduct system analysis, develop test cases, and support implementation efforts.
- Facilitate workshops, interviews, and presentations to gather and communicate project information.
- Track dependencies and schedules, ensuring timely delivery of project capabilities.
- Adapt to changing project demands and lead other IT project initiatives as required.
- Maintain clear documentation and application knowledge by reviewing relevant documentation.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent with 4 years of relevant experience.
- At least 5 years of experience as a technical business analyst in a project-based agile environment.
- Proven experience working with complex systems and APIs, with the ability to interpret documentation.
- Experience in establishing or updating websites.
- Strong understanding of both agile and waterfall methodologies; familiarity with agile tools such as Jira is preferred.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
- Effective communication skills at various organizational levels.
- Ability to understand system interactions and map data flows between source and target applications.
- Success in dynamic environments, with adaptability to evolving priorities.
- Proficiency in technology and strong knowledge of project management and software development techniques.
- Solid facilitation, presentation, interview, and workshop skills.
- Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict-resolution abilities.
- Intermediate proficiency in Word and Excel.
