About the Role

As Business Analyst, you will be responsible for supporting the delivery of a large-scale operations change programme for a global bank. The role sits at the intersection of business and technology, translating operational requirements into clear deliverables and driving process, system, and target operating model changes across the end-to-end delivery lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

  • Gather, document, and validate business requirements through stakeholder workshops, interviews, and process mapping sessions.
  • Produce core delivery artefacts including BRDs, user stories, functional specifications, process flows, and operating procedures.
  • Conduct current-state to target-state analysis, identifying process gaps, control weaknesses, and automation opportunities.
  • Support target operating model design and business readiness activities, including impact assessments and change adoption.
  • Coordinate UAT — designing test cases, tracking execution, managing defect triage, and supporting go-live and post-implementation activities.
  • Partner with operations, technology, risk, and compliance teams to resolve dependencies, track RAID items, and escalate issues.
  • Prepare status reporting and governance materials for senior stakeholders and steering forums.

Key Qualifications

  • 5\+ years of business analysis experience within banking or financial services, with a strong operations change/transformation track record.

of the following:

  • Commercial Banking

— onboarding, credit, lending, cash management, or client servicing operations.

  • Retail Banking

— account opening, KYC/CDD, payments, servicing, or branch/digital channel operations.

  • Capital Markets / Securities Services

— securities services or markets operations, with working knowledge of investment products (e.g. equities, derivatives, fixed income), covering areas such as trade capture, settlement, reconciliation, custody, or fund administration.

  • Proven delivery across the full project lifecycle: requirements definition, process re-engineering, UAT, data migration, and post-go-live support.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, comfortable operating across business, technology, and offshore teams in a matrixed environment.
  • Experience working to formal change governance, risk, and regulatory standards.
  • Proficiency with Jira, Confluence, Visio, and Excel; SQL or data analysis capability advantageous.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication in English; Cantonese and/or Mandarin an advantage.
