HR Manager \| Fridley, MN \|$95k-130k \+ Bonus

A growing medical device manufacturing organization is seeking an HR Manager to support a \~300-person site in Minnesota. This is a high-visibility role partnering closely with site leadership during a period of acquisition-driven integration and organizational change.

The HR Manager will act as a strategic HR Business Partner while remaining hands-on across core HR functions. The role oversees one direct report and supports both manufacturing and R\&D teams within a matrixed, global organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with site leadership on HR strategy, workforce planning, and organizational effectiveness
  • Serve as a trusted advisor on employee relations, performance management, and leadership coaching
  • Lead talent management, succession planning, and employee engagement initiatives
  • Support change management, integration, and development of new HR programs
  • Manage employee relations issues and ensure compliance with employment laws
  • Analyze HR data and workforce trends to drive business decisions
  • Oversee HR operations and develop one direct report

Ideal Candidate:

  • 7–15 years of progressive HR experience with a strong HRBP background
  • Experience in manufacturing and/or R\&D environments (medical device preferred)
  • Comfortable working with both shop-floor manufacturing employees and technical/scientific teams
  • Experience with change management, M\&A integration, or building HR programs
  • Strong ability to influence leadership in a matrixed environment
  • Proficient with HR systems and Excel (Paylocity, ADP, or iCIMS a plus)
  • Hands-on, site-based HR leader who is not seeking a national or centralized HR ownership role
