Role Description

The Channel Sales Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Newark, NJ. This role is responsible for identifying, recruiting, and managing channel partners to expand NRS Plus solutions into independent retail markets. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing and executing channel sales strategies, setting partner performance goals, and providing ongoing support and enablement to ensure successful product positioning and sales execution. The Channel Sales Manager will collaborate closely with internal sales, marketing, and product teams to create partner-focused programs, sales tools, and training, while monitoring pipeline activity and forecasting channel performance. This role also involves maintaining strong relationships with partners, resolving escalated issues, and gathering market feedback to inform future product and channel initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated proficiency in channel-focused activities, including Channel Sales and Channel Partner management.
  • Strong Sales skills with experience in consultative selling and closing opportunities within B2B technology or payment solutions.
  • Proven Sales Management capabilities, including setting targets, tracking performance, and coaching partner or direct sales teams.
  • Customer Service experience with a focus on building long-term relationships, handling escalations, and ensuring partner and end-customer satisfaction.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to explain technical solutions in clear business terms.
  • Experience working with independent retailers, POS systems, payment processing, or related retail technology is strongly preferred.
  • Ability to work on-site in Newark, NJ, travel to partner and customer locations as needed, and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
