About The Role
Use your communications skills to make a tangible, positive difference on the world.
CSI Swinburne is seeking two experienced Communications Coordinators to help strengthen our profile, share our evidence-led insights and connect the people and organisations driving positive social impact.
Working as part of a collaborative environment that values creativity, initiative and a commitment to social good, you’ll apply your expertise in social media management, content creation, events and digital storytelling to deliver compelling campaigns and narratives to a wide range of stakeholders across the social impact ecosystem. You will be involved in the production, promotion and marketing of events, webinars, seminars, podcasts and much, much more!
Importantly, these roles also support the work of Australia’s first Centre for Inclusive Employment, which is led by CSI Swinburne.
About You
To be suitable for this role you will need to have experience in the below key accountabilities:
- A strong interest in the social impact sector
- Demonstrated experience in the development and/or execution of social media campaigns and/or other promotion and marketing activities across various platforms including LinkedIn, as well as management and monitoring of the organisation’s social media sites.
- Proven experience in coordinating and managing the execution of webinars, podcasts, website content, and events (both in-person and online), including collecting and reporting data about their success with proficiency with platforms such as Teams and Zoom, including advanced features for engagement.
- Highly proficient computer skills, with communications and graphic software including Adobe, Marketing Cloud, Canva, and MS Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint, organizational management systems and database applications, video and podcast production, photo editing and presentation development.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate, liaise and work with people at all levels, both internal and external to the University with tact, maturity and appreciation of sensitive issues.
- Well-developed analytical, conceptual and problem-solving skills, including the ability to interpret and effectively communicate research and promotional content within a complex environment.
Qualifications
- Completion of a Bachelor’s degree with extensive relevant communications experience; or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.
