Supply Chain Manager
to own our scaling operations and ensure we show up at the right place and the right time for our customers and their microbiomes.
About the Role
We are looking for a highly analytical and execution-focused
Supply Chain Manager
to own end-to-end supply chain operations across our growing business. This role will be responsible for forecasting, inventory planning, procurement, manufacturing coordination, and logistics.
This is a critical, high-impact role at the center of the business, requiring someone who can operate both strategically and tactically in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. This is a fully remote position (MUST BE BASED IN NORTH AMERICA) that reports to our COO.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Demand Planning \& Forecasting: Own rolling demand forecasts across DTC and new channels. Continuously improve forecast accuracy and reduce stockouts/excess inventory
- Inventory Planning: Set and manage inventory targets and monitor inventory health across our growing supply chain nodes. Optimize inventory allocation to maximize revenue and minimize risk
- Procurement \+ Manufacturing: Own purchase order planning and execution with manufacturing and supplier partners. Manage production schedules, lead times, and capacity planning.
- Logistics \+ Fulfillment: Oversee inbound freight (domestic \+ international), including freight forwarders and customs. Manage relationships with 3PL partners to ensure SLA adherence and accuracy and inventory integrity. Optimize shipping costs and delivery timelines and support all channel replenishment and compliance requirements
- Systems and Process Optimization: Build smart and scalable processes and models that will help us make the smartest and swiftest decisions for the business. Identify and implement process improvements to scale operations efficiently.
- Cross Functional Collaboration: Partner with all members of our growing and mighty team, knowing that a successful supply chain requires buy-in and consensus to achieve meaningful results
- Risk Management \+ Continuous Improvement: Identify supply chain risks in a systematic manner, build contingency plans and redundancy into the supply base, and create and deploy a methodical way to track and report on key KPIs
Skills and Qualifications:
- 5–8\+ years of experience in supply chain, operations, or inventory planning (CPG preferred)
- Strong experience in DTC and/or omnichannel environments (Amazon \+ retail a plus)
- Proven track record managing:
- Contract manufacturers
- 3PLs
- Freight/logistics partners
- Advanced Excel / Google Sheets modeling skills (required)
- Experience with ERP and inventory planning tools (e.g., NetSuite, Anvyl, Inventory Planner, etc.)
- Highly analytical with strong business judgment
- Ability to operate both strategically and in the weeds
