Position Overview
We are seeking a Test Engineer to support the validation, testing, and evaluation of internally developed software applications and automation tools. This role is responsible for ensuring our systems are reliable, accurate, and user-friendly before release.
This is a hands-on position for someone who enjoys problem-solving, identifying edge cases, and improving overall product quality.
What You’ll Do
- Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts
- Perform functional, regression, and user acceptance testing (UAT)
- Identify, document, and track bugs through resolution
- Collaborate with developers to reproduce issues and validate fixes
- Test automation workflows (browser automation, API integrations, etc.)
- Validate data accuracy across systems (invoicing, labor tracking, reporting)
- Evaluate system performance, usability, and edge-case behavior
- Provide feedback to improve workflows and user experience
- Help refine testing processes and documentation
What We’re Looking For
Required:
- 3\+ years of experience in software testing or quality assurance
- Experience testing web-based applications
- Strong attention to detail and analytical mindset
- Ability to clearly document issues and communicate findings
- Experience writing test cases and tracking defects
Preferred:
- Experience with Python-based automation (e.g., Selenium, ChromeDriver)
- Familiarity with APIs and backend data validation
- Experience with Agile or iterative development environments
- Experience with tools like Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar
- Basic scripting or debugging experience
