Position Overview

We are seeking a Test Engineer to support the validation, testing, and evaluation of internally developed software applications and automation tools. This role is responsible for ensuring our systems are reliable, accurate, and user-friendly before release.

This is a hands-on position for someone who enjoys problem-solving, identifying edge cases, and improving overall product quality.

What You’ll Do

• Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts
• Perform functional, regression, and user acceptance testing (UAT)
• Identify, document, and track bugs through resolution
• Collaborate with developers to reproduce issues and validate fixes
• Test automation workflows (browser automation, API integrations, etc.)
• Validate data accuracy across systems (invoicing, labor tracking, reporting)
• Evaluate system performance, usability, and edge-case behavior
• Provide feedback to improve workflows and user experience
• Help refine testing processes and documentation

What We’re Looking For

Required:

• 3\+ years of experience in software testing or quality assurance
• Experience testing web-based applications
• Strong attention to detail and analytical mindset
• Ability to clearly document issues and communicate findings
• Experience writing test cases and tracking defects

Preferred:

• Experience with Python-based automation (e.g., Selenium, ChromeDriver)
• Familiarity with APIs and backend data validation
• Experience with Agile or iterative development environments
• Experience with tools like Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar
• Basic scripting or debugging experience

$65,000 - $85,000 per year
