Role Description

The Instructional Designer III will lead the design, development, and delivery of instructional materials for diverse learning environments, including online, hybrid, and face-to-face formats. Responsibilities encompass conducting needs analysis, creating engaging and effective instructional content, managing learning systems, and developing curricula that align with educational goals. The role requires collaboration with faculty, staff, and subject matter experts to ensure quality learning experiences. This is a full-time, on-site position located in Fayetteville, AR, supporting the university’s mission of excellence in education.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Needs Analysis and the ability to identify and address training requirements.
  • Strong skills in Instructional Design and Curriculum Development to create effective educational content and materials.
  • Experience in Training \& Development and Learning Management, including the use of LMS platforms to deliver and manage training initiatives.
  • Deep understanding of pedagogical principles, adult learning theories, and instructional best practices.
  • Highly effective communication and collaboration skills for working with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects with strong organizational and time management abilities.
  • A master’s degree in education, instructional design, or a related field is preferred.
  • Knowledge of the latest technologies and tools in educational design, with experience in higher education or a similar setting being a plus.
