The Accounting Manager will oversee core accounting operations while partnering closely with senior leadership to strengthen financial infrastructure. This role blends hands-on accounting expertise with process improvement and leadership influence.

You’ll be instrumental in ensuring financial accuracy, enhancing reporting quality, and building scalable processes to support ongoing expansion.

What You’ll Own

• Lead month-end and year-end close processes with precision and timeliness
• Oversee general ledger integrity, journal entries, and complex account reconciliations
• Review financial statements and supporting schedules to ensure accuracy and compliance
• Drive improvements in accounting workflows, automation, and controls
• Partner cross-functionally with operations, payroll, and production teams
• Support audit readiness and liaise with external auditors
• Strengthen internal controls and ensure GAAP compliance
• Contribute to financial reporting and executive-level analysis
• Mentor and guide junior accounting staff as the team continues to expand

Ideal Background

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• 5\+ years of progressive accounting experience
• Prior supervisory or team-lead experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of GAAP
• Experience in high-growth, multi-entity, or project-based environments is a plus
• ERP system experience
• Advanced Excel proficiency
• Detail-oriented but forward-thinking — someone who sees inefficiencies and fixes them
