My client, a Mid-Size Pharma Manufacturer is seeking is a

"Director, Enterprise Data Governance -PHARMA"

to lead the development and execution of enterprise-wide data governance capabilities that ensure trusted, high-quality, compliant, and accessible data across the organization. This is a newly created leadership role that will play a critical part in shaping how data is managed, governed, and leveraged to support business and AI-driven innovation.

This leader will chair the Data Governance Committee and work closely with a network of Data Champions across R\&D, Commercial, Operations, Legal, HR, IT, Information Security, and Enterprise AI.

The role will drive the implementation of governance frameworks including policies, standards, stewardship models, metadata management, data catalogs, classification, and lineage.

The Director will partner closely with Legal, Quality, and IT to ensure compliance with privacy regulations, record retention requirements, and regulatory expectations, while also embedding governance into enterprise data platforms, analytics environments, and AI workflows.

The ideal candidate brings deep experience in enterprise data governance within pharma or biotech, along with a proven ability to influence stakeholders, lead cross-functional initiatives, and drive adoption of governance best practices that improve data quality, transparency, and accountability.
