Job Description

This position will report to Nash Plumbing and Mechanical, LLC, a subsidiary of HB Global.

Job Summary**

Installs, assembles, fabricates, maintains, and repairs mechanical piping systems and equipment for Nash Plumbing and Mechanical, LLC projects, ensuring adherence to blueprints, specifications, and safety standards.

Job Responsibilities**

  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and project specifications to determine piping system layouts, dimensions, and materials required.
  • Cut, thread, bend, and assemble pipes, valves, and fittings using various tools and techniques (e.g., welding, brazing, soldering, grooving).
  • Install pipe supports, hangers, and hydraulic and pneumatic equipment according to project plans.
  • Inspect, examine, and test installed systems and pipelines to locate and repair leaks or other deficiencies.
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on existing piping systems to ensure optimal functionality.
  • Collaborate with other tradespeople and project managers to ensure efficient project completion.
  • Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, as well as relevant industry codes and regulations.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area and properly care for tools and equipment.
  • Provide accurate documentation of work performed, including materials used and hours worked.

Job Qualifications**

  • Proven experience as a pipefitter, preferably in industrial or commercial settings.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
  • Strong knowledge of various piping materials, tools, and installation techniques.
  • Experience with different pipe joining methods (e.g., welding, brazing, soldering, mechanical connections).
  • Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting heavy objects, working in confined spaces, and at heights.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • OSHA 10 or 30 certification preferred.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
