Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop interactive

Power BI dashboards, reports, and semantic models

for business and executive stakeholders

• Build and optimize

data models (star/snowflake schemas)

for performance and scalability

• Develop complex

DAX measures and calculations

following best practices

• Design, implement, and maintain

ETL/ELT pipelines

using SQL, Python, or cloud-native tools

• Integrate data from multiple sources including

databases, APIs, data lakes, and cloud platforms

• Ensure

data quality, validation, reconciliation, and monitoring

across pipelines and reports

• Optimize Power BI performance (query folding, incremental refresh, aggregations)
• Implement

row-level security (RLS)

and governance standards

• Collaborate with data architects, data engineers, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into analytics solutions
• Support deployment, version control, and CI/CD for BI and data engineering assets
• Mentor junior developers and contribute to BI and data engineering best practices

Required Skills \& Qualifications

• 7\+ years of experience in

BI, analytics, or data engineering roles

• Strong expertise in

Power BI (Power BI Service, Desktop, DAX, Power Query)

• Advanced proficiency in

SQL

(performance tuning, complex joins, window functions)

• Hands-on experience with

data engineering concepts

(ETL/ELT, data pipelines, orchestration)

• Experience with

cloud data platforms

(Azure Synapse, Azure Data Factory, Snowflake, AWS Redshift, BigQuery, etc.)

• Strong understanding of

data warehousing concepts

and dimensional modeling

• Experience working with

large datasets and enterprise-scale BI solutions

• Familiarity with

DevOps/CI-CD

practices for BI and data pipelines

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
