Job Description

The Junior HR Manager supports the day-to-day operations of the Human Resources department. This role assists in recruitment, employee relations, payroll coordination, performance management, and compliance with Kuwait labor laws. The position is ideal for an HR professional looking to develop managerial skills while handling operational HR responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities :

Recruitment \& Onboarding

  • Assist in workforce planning and recruitment processes.
  • Post job advertisements, screen candidates, and coordinate interviews.
  • Conduct onboarding and orientation for new employees.
  • Prepare employment contracts and HR documentation.

Employee Relations

  • Act as the first point of contact for employee HR queries.
  • Support grievance handling and disciplinary procedures.
  • Assist in implementing employee engagement initiatives.

HR Administration

  • Maintain accurate employee records and HR databases.
  • Track attendance, leaves, and employee documentation.
  • Coordinate with PRO/administration for visas, residency, and labor-related matters.

Payroll \& Benefits

  • Assist in monthly payroll preparation and verification.
  • Maintain employee benefits records (insurance, leave, allowances).
  • Support final settlement calculations as per Kuwait labor law.

Performance Management \& Training

  • Support performance appraisal cycles.
  • Assist in identifying training needs and coordinating programs.
  • Maintain training records and employee development plans.

Compliance \& Policies

  • Ensure HR practices comply with Kuwait labor law and company policies.
  • Assist in drafting and updating HR policies and procedures.
  • Support audits and HR reporting requirements.

Qualifications \& Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 7–10 years of HR experience, preferably in Kuwait.
  • Basic knowledge of Kuwait labor law and HR practices.
  • Experience in recruitment, HR operations, or employee relations.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and HR systems.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Fluency in English \& Arabic.
