Role Description

The Dental Assisting Instructor is a full-time, on-site role located in the Dallas–Fort Worth Metroplex. This role is responsible for delivering engaging classroom and lab instruction in dental assisting, following established curricula and institutional standards. Day-to-day activities include preparing lesson plans, teaching dental procedures and chairside skills, demonstrating proper use of dental instruments and materials, and supervising hands-on practice. The instructor assesses student performance through assignments, tests, and skills evaluations, provides constructive feedback, and supports learners with tutoring and mentoring as needed. Additional responsibilities may include maintaining accurate records, participating in faculty meetings and professional development, and contributing to a positive, inclusive educational environment.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong expertise in Dental Care and Dentistry, with current knowledge of clinical standards and best practices.
• Candidates should possess practical skills in Dental Assisting, including chairside support, infection control, radiography, and patient preparation.
• Candidates should possess experience in Training and with the ability to explain concepts clearly and guide hands-on skill development.
• Relevant certification or licensure in dental assisting or dentistry (such as RDA preferred or required, depending on local regulations.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills, with a commitment to inclusive, learner-centered education.
• Ability to use basic educational technology (learning management systems, presentation tools) and maintain accurate academic records.
