#### Position Summary:
The Financial Analyst will play a crucial role in supporting the ongoing analysis of KPIs and monthly financial reporting. This individual will partner with Finance, Accounting, and other departments as needed to analyze data, identify trends, and drive actionable insights based on the monthly financial statements. This position reports directly to the Vice President, Finance and will work collaboratively with members of the Finance, Accounting, and Operations teams.

#### Primary Responsibilities:
Financial Reporting
- Assist with the creation of ongoing monthly reporting materials presented to leadership and the board
- Own monthly reporting of financials presented to Operations and regional teams
- Understand and highlight drivers of change within the financial results to facilitate strategic decision making
- Drive continual automation of financial reporting and work reduction tools and processes to support effective and accurate financial planning across the company
Financial Analysis
- Create financial models utilizing business trends and past results to find opportunities to maximize company profits through revenue growth and cost-saving initiatives
- Assist with the Budget and periodic forecasting. Work with Operations and Finance to obtain a detailed understanding of the key drivers, considerations, and assumptions related to the annual budget, monthly reporting information, and quarterly forecast. Identify strategic opportunities and/or risks
- Assist with new and ongoing KPI analytics as needed
- Perform ad hoc analysis as needed
#### Qualifications:
Skills and Competencies
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in financial modeling including the ability to interpret data, question the results, generate insights, and construct solutions
- Proven ability to be flexible and work hard, both independently and in a team environment
- Excellent communication, organization, and collaborative skills
- Ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
- Proficient in MS Office Suite; highly proficient in Excel and PowerPoint
#### Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree is required, preferably in Finance, Accounting or related field of study
- Minimum of two years relevant experience
- Experience in veterinary industry, multi-site healthcare, NetSuite, and PowerBI preferred
#### Travel Requirements:
- Minimal / no travel required, remote role
#### Compensation and Benefits:
- Annual salary of $70-80k dependent on experience, plus 10% discretionary annual bonus
