Position Summary
SRS Distribution, a wholly owned subsidiary of The Home Depot, is seeking a
Business Analyst
to support our
E-commerce Product Team
within the Global Technology Center. This role serves as a key liaison between business stakeholders, product leadership, and engineering teams to drive the successful delivery of digital product enhancements.
The Business Analyst will be responsible for
understanding feature requirements, documenting user stories, supporting Agile delivery, and validating product functionality
across a suite of internal and customer-facing ecommerce applications. This role plays a critical part in improving digital experiences, optimizing business processes, and ensuring the quality delivery of product features.
Key Responsibilities
Requirements Gathering \& Documentation
- Partner with Product Managers and business stakeholders to
understand and define feature requirements
- Translate business needs into
well-defined user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional documentation
- Ensure requirements are clear, complete, and ready for development and testing
Backlog Management (JIRA)
- Create, manage, and prioritize user stories, enhancements, and defects within
JIRA
- Maintain a well-organized and groomed backlog aligned to product priorities
- Ensure all stories include clear business value, acceptance criteria, and dependencies
Agile Product Delivery
- Work closely with developers, QA engineers, and Product Managers throughout the Agile lifecycle
- Participate in sprint planning, backlog refinement, daily stand-ups, and sprint reviews
- Act as a key point of contact to ensure alignment across cross-functional teams
Feature Testing \& Validation
- Collaborate with development and QA teams to
test features and validate functionality against requirements
- Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and ensure defects are identified and resolved before release
- Confirm delivered features meet business expectations and product standards
E-commerce Product Support
- Support enhancements and ongoing improvements for
e-commerce platforms and digital user experiences
- Analyze customer journeys and workflows to identify opportunities to improve usability and conversion
Analytics \& Performance Insights
- Utilize
Google Analytics
and related tools to monitor user behavior, feature adoption, and performance
- Translate data insights into actionable recommendations to improve product outcomes
Production Support \& Continuous Improvement
- Assist in troubleshooting production issues and conducting root cause analysis
- Identify opportunities for process optimization, automation, and system enhancements
Governance \& Compliance
- Ensure adherence to enterprise standards, data governance, and compliance requirements
Required Qualifications
- 3\+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Product Analyst, or similar role in an Agile environment
- Experience supporting
e-commerce or digital product teams
- Strong experience with
JIRA for backlog and work item management
- Proven ability to
document feature requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria
- Experience working closely with development teams on
feature delivery and testing
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
