Job Description
Beacon Communications, LLC is seeking an experienced Vista Business Analyst to support, administer, optimize, and continuously improve the company's Vista by Viewpoint ERP system (Vista). This role is critical to ensuring the stability, security, and effective use of Vista by serving as a primary point of contact for system support and enhancements.
The Vista Business Analyst will be responsible for user administration and security controls, managing and prioritizing user requests, troubleshooting system issues, and leading the implementation of new Vista functionality. This role requires close collaboration with business stakeholders to understand operational needs and translate them into well-designed, scalable system solutions.
The ideal candidate brings hands-on experience with Vista, strong technical and analytical problem-solving skills, and the ability to balance system governance with practical business enablement. This position plays a key role in driving efficiency and continuous improvement across the organization.
The salary range for this position is between $90,000 - $105,000, commensurate on relevant education, experience, and other job-related factors.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Support the implementation, configuration, and ongoing administration of Vista.
- Administer user provisioning and deprovisioning, including new user setup, role-based access assignments, security group management, and prompt removal of access upon role changes or termination
- Maintaining, reviewing, and auditing role-based security.
- Management of Vista licenses.
- Troubleshoot system issues, perform root cause analysis, and deliver timely resolutions.
- Serve as the primary liaison between IT, accounting, and operations teams for system-related needs.
- Analyze current business processes and recommend system-driven improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy.
- Assist with system upgrades, enhancements, and integrations with third-party applications .
- Provide end-user support and training to ensure effective utilization of ERP systems.
- Assist with data migration, reconciliation, and validation during implementations or upgrades.
- Collaborate on IT and ERP-related projects to support business growth and scalability.
- Support acquisition integration as needed.
- Assist with other tasks as needed.

Required Skills \& Abilities:
- Working knowledge of key Vista Modules (HR, PR, JC,JB, SM, and VA).
- Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve ERP/system-related issues.
- Solid understanding of ERP systems, data structures, and system workflows.
- Experience supporting ERP implementations and post-go-live optimization.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Enthusiastic team player.
Education, License and Experience:
- 3–5 years of experience in ERP systems analysis, IT systems support, or a related role.
- Hands-on experience with Vista by Viewpoint is required.
- Experience in construction, electrical contracting, or a related industry is preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in information systems, Computer Science, Business, or a related field is preferred but not required.
- Strong Microsoft Office Suite (particularly Excel) skills
Physical Requirements:
- Requires prolonged sitting, standing, some bending, stooping, and stretching. Requires manual dexterity and eye-hand coordination for data input.
- Occasionally lift and carry items weighing up to 20 pounds.
- Must maintain a clear background check.
