The Opportunity

An established

technical consultancy and software business

is seeking an ambitious

Chief Executive Officer

to lead the next phase of its growth.

The business combines specialist consultancy, proprietary software, analytics and emerging AI technologies to deliver innovative solutions across the public and private sectors.

This is a hands-on leadership opportunity to shape the future of the organisation, strengthen its operational capability and accelerate both consultancy and software growth.

You'll be responsible for:

• Driving commercial growth across both consultancy and software.
• Developing new markets whilst strengthening existing client relationships.
• Leading strategic bids, tenders and framework opportunities.
• Coaching and developing the commercial team to deliver consistently high-quality tender submissions.
• Identifying opportunities to increase the commercial value of the company's software platform.
• Embracing AI and emerging technologies to improve consultancy delivery, operational efficiency and scalability.
• Building a stronger organisational structure, leadership capability and operational processes to support long-term growth.

You'll likely be an existing:

• Chief Executive Officer
• Managing Director
• Business Unit Director
• Regional Director

with experience leading a

technical, scientific, analytical or technology-led consultancy

.

You'll bring:

• Proven commercial and strategic leadership.
• Full P\&L responsibility.
• Experience winning public and private sector consultancy projects.
• A passion for building businesses, developing people and driving continuous improvement.
• An appreciation of how software and AI can enhance consultancy businesses and create competitive advantage.

Experience within technical consultancy, environmental, energy, infrastructure, software, SaaS, analytics, geospatial or other knowledge-led professional services would be advantageous.
