Job Description
Purchasing Specialist (Hybrid)
We’re partnering with an innovative organization to hire a
Purchasing Specialist
to join a collaborative procurement team. This role offers strong exposure to compliance-driven purchasing and cross-functional projects.
What you’ll do:
- Coordinate procurement of goods and services in line with company policies
- Review purchase requisitions for accuracy and completeness
- Create and manage purchase orders, confirming pricing, specs, and delivery timelines
- Ensure compliance with procurement standards, including federal guidelines when applicable
- Maintain vendor relationships and support supplier performance management
- Assist with onboarding new vendors and maintaining vendor records
- Support change orders, audits, and reporting requirements
What we’re looking for:
- 1–3\+ years of procurement experience
- Experience reviewing requisitions and managing purchase orders
- Understanding of procurement policies and compliance requirements (government contracts a plus)
- Strong Excel and ERP system experience (SAP, Oracle, or similar preferred)
- Solid communication and relationship-building skills
- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities
Additional details:
- Hybrid schedule (3 days onsite)
- Salary range: $55K–$65K
