We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical

Business Intelligence Analyst

to design, build, and maintain impactful analytics solutions using Power BI and Azure Data Factory. In this role, you will transform complex data into clear, actionable insights that enable data-driven decision-making across the organization.

You will collaborate closely with business stakeholders, data engineers, and analytics teams to ensure reliable data pipelines, high-quality reporting, and scalable analytics solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Data Analysis and Reporting:

• Collect, analyse, and interpret large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
• Develop and maintain dashboards and reports using PowerBI to visualize data and present findings to stakeholders.
• Ensure data accuracy and integrity by performing regular data validation and quality checks.
• Conduct ad-hoc analysis to support various business initiatives and projects.

Business Intelligence Development:

• Design and implement BI solutions to meet business requirements.
• Collaborate with IT and business teams to gather and define reporting needs.
• Create and maintain data models, queries, and stored procedures to support BI initiatives.
• Develop and enhance ETL processes to ensure efficient data integration and transformation.

Performance Monitoring and Optimization:

• Monitor the performance of BI solutions and identify areas for improvement.
• Optimize data retrieval and reporting processes to enhance efficiency and reduce latency.
• Provide recommendations for data-driven decision-making and strategic planning.
• Conduct regular performance tuning and optimization of BI tools and systems.

Stakeholder Collaboration:

• Work closely with business users to understand their needs and provide actionable insights.
• Conduct training sessions and workshops to educate stakeholders on the use of PowerBI and other BI tools.
• Communicate complex data findings in a clear and concise manner to non-technical audiences.
• Foster strong relationships with key stakeholders to ensure alignment and collaboration.

Documentation and Compliance:

• Maintain comprehensive documentation of BI processes, methodologies, and standards.
• Ensure compliance with data governance policies and regulations.
• Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in BI and data analytics.
• Develop and maintain documentation for data sources, data models, and reporting solutions.

Qualifications

:

Must have:

• 2-4 years hands on relevant experience
• Proficiency in Power BI is required, including experience building dashboards, creating reports, and developing data visualisations to support business decision-making.
• Working knowledge of Azure Data Factory for data integration and orchestration
• Proven ability to translate ambiguous requirements into scalable BI solutions and clear visual narratives
• Familiarity with enterprise SaaS applications (Salesforce, ERP systems) and integrating data from multiple sources
• Customer-focused with a drive for delivering high-quality insights

Good to have:

• Familiarity with Sage Intacct and Snowflake
• Bachelor’s degree in Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
• Experience with SQL, data warehousing, and ETL processes.
• Knowledge of statistical analysis and data mining techniques.
• Familiarity with other data visualization tools such as Tableau
