Position Objective:

This position is a hands on, multi-location Human Resources (HR) Manager role responsible for all HR business partner activities supporting assigned locations and remote team members who are part of our U.S. Flow Control Solutions (FCS) Division (Within the Life Science Technologies Business Unit of Ingersoll Rand). This is a great opportunity to support a dynamic business in a growing industry. The incumbent must be a trusted advisor to leaders, managers, and employees covering all HR functions including, but not limited to, organizational development initiatives, employee relations, talent management, employee development, talent acquisition, compensation and benefits, and other people-related initiatives.

Responsibilities:

  • HR Business Partner for assigned Flow Control Solutions leadership team members and their US employee populations in remote or designated site locations.
  • Recommends and implements initiatives that assist the team in meeting annual revenue and profit goals.
  • Develops and leads organizational transformation-oriented projects and initiatives to successful outcome.
  • Oversee the recruiting and onboarding process to ensure talent needed for current and future growth.
  • Helps develop employees' competencies and capabilities so they can grow and see a long-term future with the company through mentoring, training and performance management.
  • Facilitates, along with Ingersoll Rand Total Rewards team, the performance review and compensation process ensuring fair and competitive pay practices that reflect individual contributions to the organization.
  • With leadership, manages the organization’s climate to inspire commitment, loyalty, pride, and spirit in the organization, making Ingersoll Rand a great place to work.
  • Works with local management and FCS leadership to develop compensation strategies consistent with revenue objectives and local practices.
  • Independently develops approaches to address a variety of employee relations issues.
  • Ensures company compliance with all existing governmental and labor legal and government reporting.
  • Identifies and drives programs that result in successful HR metrics: turnover, training \& performance
  • Supports, with the opportunity to lead, global initiatives that impact the whole FCS business.

Requirements

:

  • Minimum of a Bachelors’ degree or equivalent in Human Resources, Business, or similar discipline.
  • 5\+ plus years of progressive professional experience in Human Resources positions, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Demonstrated working knowledge of key HR functional areas including recruiting, onboarding, training and development, organizational design, employee relations, performance management, compensation, and benefits.
  • Demonstrated experience leading and delivering large scale people initiatives including program development, organizational change and change management, and organizational development
  • Demonstrated ability to influence leaders, managers, and associates
  • Exceptional judgment, discretion and professionalism. Practices a high level of confidentiality.
  • Superior organizational and follow-through skills. Ability to prioritize effectively and deliver in an ambiguous and extremely fast paced environment.
  • Strong data-driven problem-solving skills. Ability to identify and analyze key data to drive action.
  • Speaks and writes clearly and persuasively in positive or negative situations and demonstrates group presentation skills.
  • Experience with complex multinational companies strongly preferred

Travel \& Work Arrangements/Requirements

:

  • This position is remotely located in the US Midwest/ East Coast region.
  • Position requires travel to existing company sites as needed (estimated 10-15% travel)
