As we continue to grow, we are looking for a talented HR Generalist to join our team and support the day-to-day functions of the HR department. Position Description

As an HR Generalist, you’ll be an important part of our team, supporting the HR Manager and helping ensure that our processes run smoothly. This role touches many aspects of HR including recruitment, onboarding, employee support, benefits, and compliance, and plays a key role in fostering a positive, respectful workplace. We’re looking for someone who brings professionalism, integrity, and a commitment to confidentiality in every interaction. You’ll work closely with employees and leaders across all levels of the company, handling sensitive information and situations with empathy and discretion.

Responsibilities

  • Manage full-cycle recruitment process, including posting jobs, screening applicants, coordinating interviews, attending job fairs and recruitment events, processing background checks, and coordinating drug screens
  • Oversee onboarding and offboarding processes, including conducting orientations and safety training
  • Assist in timely completion of I-9 and E-Verify processing
  • Assist with tracking Leaves of Absence
  • Support the HR Manager with workers' compensation claims
  • Update HR systems to reflect personnel changes
  • Support the HR Manager with monthly and annual open enrollment
  • Support the HR Manager with 401k enrollment, including collecting all required enrollment forms
  • Work closely with the HR manager to develop, strategize, and execute projects to help the Company’s growth
  • Work closely with the HR manager to ensure all employees’ inquiries are addressed in a timely manner
  • Perform periodic audits of Human Resources files and records to ensure that all required documents are collected and filed appropriately
  • Uphold the highest standards of ethical conduct and confidentiality when handling sensitive personnel matters

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Psychology, or a related field is preferred
  • 3-4 years of HR experience, or equivalent education and experience
  • Comprehensive knowledge of HR practices, including employee relations and compliance
  • Strong written and oral communication skills, including active listening skills
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality, exercise discretion, and demonstrate professionalism at all times
  • Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills; high attention to detail is critical
