, a disruptive heavy-duty truck and vehicle parts marketplace, at a pivotal growth stage. Reporting directly to the CTO, you will be the core technical leader responsible for building and mentoring a high-performing engineering team, defining our development standards, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality, scalable, and secure systems that fuel our rapid growth.

Beyond management, you'll blend mentorship with hands-on practice, defining engineering best practices and collaborating across teams to transform complex business challenges into elegant, scalable solutions. This position is central to the future of how FinditParts engineers, scales, and cultivates a high-performance product and engineering culture.

Key Responsibilities:

Team Leadership \& Engineering Culture

• Manage and grow a team of 5–10 engineers, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration and performance.
• Mentor, develop and provide hands-on technical guidance to engineers and managers
• Shape and optimize the engineering culture and team performance, ensuring high engagement and clear technical direction.

Technical Strategy \& Product Delivery

• Oversee and contribute to the roadmap and end-to-end delivery of high-quality, scalable, and secure systems, products, and platforms.
• Champion best practices in code quality, testing, deployment, operations, and AI utilization.
• Establish and monitor key engineering KPIs to measure team performance, productivity, quality, and delivery efficiency.

Cross-Functional Partnership

• Collaborate closely with Product, Design, and other stakeholders to translate ambiguous business requirements into clear, executable engineering solutions.

Qualifications:

• 10\+ years of progressive experience in software engineering, and 3\+ years leading/managing a team of 5 \+ engineers.
• Proven track record of delivering high-quality, complex software systems in a small team environment.
• Deep expertise with the full technology stack, including modern software development practices, architectures, and tooling.
• Expertise in building lightweight, fast-rendering, and SEO-friendly web pages.
• Comfortable with Linux-based systems, including writing scripts and working effectively with file systems.
• Experience working in eCommerce, logistics, or marketplace environments is a strong plus.
