Job Description
Broadcast IT Field Engineer – Washington, DC (Onsite)
Location: Washington, DC 20002 (Onsite)
Duration: 6\+ Month Contract (Extension/Conversion Possible)
We are seeking an experienced Broadcast IT Field Engineer to support live news and sports productions in a fast-paced 24/7 broadcast environment.
Required Qualifications
- 4\+ years of Broadcast Engineering, Television, Multimedia Production, or IT Support experience
- Hands-on experience with live broadcast production and troubleshooting broadcast equipment
- Experience with Satellite, Fiber/IP, RF/Microwave, video/audio routing, and broadcast communications systems
- Strong IT networking and computer troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work under pressure and travel as needed
Preferred
- Experience with Sony, Harmonic, or Evertz systems
- Broadcast IP, Networking, or IT certifications
Pay: $50\.00 - $58\.00 per hour
