Job Title: Prototype Test Engineer

Location: Manchester, NH

Pay Rate: $32–$35/hr

Schedule: 1st Shift

Shift: 8:00 AM – 4:00/4:30 PM

Overview

We are seeking a Prototype Test Engineer to join a leading medical device innovation company in Manchester, NH. In this role, you will support engineering teams in a dynamic R\&D environment focused on biological and electromechanical systems. You will play a key role in testing, data collection, and analysis of prototype devices that contribute to life-changing technologies. This is a hands-on opportunity to work closely with engineers in developing and validating next-generation medical products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create and execute test procedures for prototype devices
  • Report test results and findings to engineering teams
  • Assist in analysis of collected data
  • Document and investigate observations made during testing
  • Support engineering investigations and problem-solving efforts
  • Design and build test articles and test fixtures
  • Perform mechanical and electrical assembly as needed
  • Operate and monitor mechanical testing equipment
  • Maintain accurate documentation of all testing activities

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical preferred) — 2026 grads considered
  • Hands-on experience with mechanical equipment and testing environments
  • Experience with mechanical and/or electrical assembly
  • Ability to run, document, and analyze tests
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Experience analyzing technical data
  • Laboratory experience documenting experiments
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
  • Self-motivated with strong prioritization skills
