Head of R&D - Software, AI & Genomics

We are a pioneering biotech company specializing in the development of technological platforms for the analysis and interpretation of Whole Genome Sequencing (WGS), Pharmacogenomics (PGx), Personalized Medicine, and Longevity, alongside complex software systems supporting the company's medical and business operations.

We are looking for a technological talent to lead the company's entire research and development activities.

The role includes leading and professionally managing an existing development team, responsibility for system design and architecture, developing complex technological solutions and algorithms, tackling technological challenges, and demonstrating exceptional problem-solving abilities within short timeframes.

Responsibilities

• Manage and lead the development team and all technological development activities within the company.
• Design architecture, develop, and upgrade complex software systems, including CRM, medical systems, Backend, and integrations.
• Develop advanced algorithms for genomic data analysis and interpretation, including WGS, variant classification, PGx, and PRS.
• Develop and implement AI-based solutions, data analysis, and automation.
• Drive technological innovation, solve complex engineering challenges, and maintain hands-on involvement in development.

Requirements

• Strong software development skills

, particularly in Python, while working with AI.

• Exceptional algorithmic and analytical thinking.
• Experience developing complex systems and designing system architectures.
• Ability to lead a development team and take responsibility for complex projects.
• Familiarity with AI, data analysis, and automation.
• Experience in bioinformatics / genomics.
• Significant experience working in an AWS environment.
