Global Sourcing Specialist

A well-established service provider in the automotive industry is seeking a global purchasing agent in the New Haven, Connecticut area.

Candidates Must Have

• 5 or more years of purchasing, procurement, or supply chain experience in a mechanical environment with direct involvement in international sourcing.
• Demonstrated experience purchasing/sourcing machinery parts or other mechanical components is required for this role.
• Experience identifying low-cost global regions to purchase parts from.
• Working knowledge of international trade processes, including but not limited to: freight forwarding and customs clearance.
• Demonstrated negotiation skills and comfortability conducting business with suppliers across language and cultural barriers.
