Job Description

Who is Parser?

Technology alone does not create impact - the right teams do. Founded in 2018, Parser is a boutique technology services and consulting firm helping global organisations solve complex business challenges through digital transformation, product development and AI enablement.

We are a fast-growing team of 340\+ engineers and consultants across Europe (UK, Spain, Portugal), the Americas (US, Argentina, Uruguay, Colombia), and the Middle East. We combine global reach with a mindset focused on agility, senior expertise, and close collaboration. We work as an extension of our clients’ teams, helping them define the right problems, shape solutions, and deliver technology-driven outcomes that create measurable business value. Our expertise spans software engineering, AI \& data, product development, and customer experience, delivered by teams that combine strong technical depth with a consulting mindset.

Why Join Us

?If you are looking for a place where you can think beyond execution, take true ownership of outcomes, influence decisions, and continuously learn alongside top-tier specialists in a truly global environment, we’d love to meet you.

Parser is seeking an experienced MTS Backend Engineer to join our growing team in New York City. We're building a dedicated deployments team focused on deploying our platform into large US enterprise healthcare environments. This team works closely with customers and our core platform engineers to ensure seamless, reliable integrations into complex payer systems of record.

About you

You have a passion for doing things The Right Way, you believe Less is More, you want to focus on the foundations of system design and architecture (pacelc, consistency guarantees), you care as much about the code you do not write, you're tired of the hype treadmill and care about the fundamentals. You have battle scars from over-engineered and underperforming slop, and you care about writing code that lasts. Your depth is in building integrations, APIs, and data pipelines that connect complex systems together reliably. You've worked with enterprise customers, dealt with messy data, conflicting sources of truth, and deduplication challenges. You've owned integration design decisions end-to-end — from scoping requirements with a customer to shipping it to production and making sure it holds up. You may be coming from a health tech company, a scale-up doing enterprise deployments, or a platform team that built the connective tissue between systems — what matters is that you've navigated real integration complexity and you want ownership over what you build.

About the role

You will own customer deployment problems end-to-end from scoping integrations through to production. You'll be the bridge between our AI platform and the enterprise healthcare systems it plugs into.

A day's work may include:

  • Designing and building integrations, APIs, and data pipelines that connect our platform to customer systems of record (EHRs, claims platforms, care management systems).
  • Working directly with US enterprise healthcare customers to understand their architecture, scope integration requirements, and translate them into technical specs
  • Building and maintaining FHIR, HL7, and custom API integrations with payer and health plan systems.
  • Debugging data quality issues — conflicting sources of truth, deduplication, schema mismatches, and edge cases specific to healthcare data
  • Owning UAT testing end-to-end, working with customer IT teams to validate data flows before go-live
  • Building internal tooling and shared integration patterns that make the next deployment faster
  • Contributing to Anterior's SDKs, developer documentation, and integration playbooks
  • Collaborating closely with the core platform team in New York to ensure integration needs inform platform architecture.
