Backend Developer
to join our team. The ideal candidate will design and build
scalable, secure server-side applications and services
supporting Federal Government modernization programs. This role requires strong experience in
backend programming, database design, and microservices architecture
, along with the ability to develop reliable and high-performing systems.

delivering mission-critical capabilities and innovative technology solutions to our Federal Government customers

Work Environment: On-site
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop server-side application logic, APIs, and data services using languages such as Java, Python, or Node.js.
- Build and maintain relational and NoSQL database schemas, queries, and stored procedures.
- Implement microservices and service-oriented architectures following enterprise design patterns.
- Collaborate with frontend developers, architects, and DevOps engineers to deliver end-to-end solutions.
- Conduct unit testing, integration testing, and code reviews to ensure code quality and reliability.
- Optimize application performance through profiling, caching strategies, and query tuning.
- Adhere to secure coding practices and participate in security code reviews.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor's in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 3 years of backend development.
- Demonstrated expertise in: Server-side programming, database design, API development, microservices, performance optimization.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen.
- Must possess an active Secret security clearance or be able to obtain one.
Desired Skills
- Understand PeopleSoft and related Oracle technology.
- AWS Certified Developer or equivalent cloud certification.
- Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, Karfka).
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevSecOps practices.
- Experience developing backend services for DoD or federal agency programs.
Additional Information
- Clearance: Must be a U.S. Citizen with an active Secret security clearance or the ability to obtain one.
- Work Environment: On-site as required by the contract.
- This is a full-time, W2 position.
