About the Role

We are looking for a UX/UI Designer who thrives at the intersection of user experience, product strategy, and emerging technology.

This is not a production-focused UI role. We are looking for someone who can evaluate workflows, simplify complex processes, and create intuitive experiences for users who may have little or no prior experience with learning management systems.

Learner Mobile continues to evolve as an AI-powered knowledge ecosystem, with new capabilities being introduced across content creation, administration, analytics, and AI-powered experiences. As the platform grows, we are focused on creating a more unified, intuitive, and scalable user experience that makes complex tasks feel simple. This role will help shape the next generation of both our administrative platform and learner applications by establishing design standards, refining workflows, and creating experiences that are approachable for new users while remaining powerful for experienced administrators.

The ideal candidate deeply understands users, can solve problems through intuitive and accessible experiences, and can translate those solutions into clear, effective user journeys that drive business outcomes. They are naturally curious about how people work, where they struggle, and how technology can reduce friction. They are comfortable conducting user research, mapping workflows, designing interfaces, and collaborating closely with product managers, developers, AI specialists, and business stakeholders.

Most importantly, this person embraces AI as a core part of the future user experience—helping define how intelligent assistants, automation, and guided workflows can make learning administration dramatically easier.

What We're Looking For

The Ideal candidate has:

  • A passion for user experience, product design, learning, and emerging technology
  • Background and experience with user research and discovery, information architecture and experience design, and visual and interface design.
  • Strong experience designing intuitive SaaS, web, or mobile applications
  • The ability to simplify complex workflows and translate business requirements into elegant user experiences
  • Experience designing products for users with varying levels of technical expertise
  • Strong information architecture, workflow design, systems-thinking, and user research skills
  • Experience leveraging AI-powered design, prototyping, and product development tools to accelerate ideation, workflow design, user research, and experience validation
  • Familiarity with learning platforms, content management systems, or enterprise software
  • A growth mindset and curiosity around AI-powered user experiences
  • Strong visual design skills paired with exceptional usability instincts
  • The ability to balance user needs, technical constraints, and business objectives
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • A desire to create products that feel intuitive, approachable, and enjoyable to use

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Design intuitive experiences across both the Learner Mobile administrative platform and learner-facing mobile applications
  • Create user flows, journey maps, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity interface designs
  • Partner with Product and Engineering teams to continuously refine workflows, improve user experiences, and support the ongoing evolution of the Learner Mobile platform
  • Conduct user research, usability testing, and workflow analysis to identify opportunities to improve adoption, efficiency, and ease of use
  • Establish and maintain design systems, interaction patterns, and UX standards that create consistency across the platform
  • Translate complex learning, content management, and administrative functionality into intuitive user experiences
  • Design onboarding, setup, and content creation experiences that reduce the learning curve for new administrators
  • Help define and design AI-powered experiences, including assistants, automation, content generation, and intelligent recommendations
  • Contribute to the long-term product vision while advocating for accessibility, usability, and user-centered design principles

Requirements:

  • 4\+ years of experience designing SaaS, web-based, mobile, or enterprise software products
  • Advanced proficiency in Figma or similar UX/UI design platforms
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating UX process, workflow design, and product thinking
  • Experience creating wireframes, prototypes, user flows, and scalable design systems
  • Experience conducting user research and usability testing
  • Strong understanding of information architecture, interaction design, accessibility, and UX best practices
  • Experience collaborating closely with software development teams
  • Understanding of responsive and mobile-first design principles
  • Experience with learning platforms, content management systems, workflow tools, or enterprise software is highly desirable

AI \& Technology Expectations:

AI is becoming a foundational component of Learner Mobile. Successful candidates will demonstrate curiosity and have design experience that leverages AI to simplify work, guide decision-making, and automate repetitive tasks.

Experience with tools such as:

  • ChatGPT
  • Claude
  • Figma AI
  • Lovable or other AI-assisted prototyping and design tools
  • Workflow automation platforms

Candidates should be excited about defining how AI assistants, intelligent recommendations, content generation, and guided workflows become embedded into everyday product experiences. They should also be comfortable leveraging AI-powered design and development tools to rapidly explore concepts, validate ideas, and accelerate product innovation.
