Job Description
We are looking for an HR Generalist to join a dynamic and growing real estate company based in Rockville, Maryland. This newly created role offers the chance to contribute to a variety of human resource functions, including benefits administration, payroll support, compliance, and employee engagement. Responsibilities:
- Manage daily HR operations, ensuring smooth and efficient processes.
- Conduct onboarding activities, including orientations for new team members and handling necessary paperwork.
- Plan and execute employee engagement initiatives that foster a positive workplace culture.
- Assist in processing payroll using Paycom, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Prepare and distribute benefits materials, as well as manage open enrollment processes.
- Address and resolve employee relations matters, promoting effective communication and collaboration.
- Facilitate open communication between employees and supervisors to strengthen workplace relationships.
- Support recruitment efforts, including screening candidates and coordinating interviews.
- Conduct exit interviews and analyze feedback to improve HR practices.

- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in human resources or recruiting.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Experience with Paycom or similar HRIS systems is highly desirable.
- Bilingual proficiency in Spanish is a plus.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain a stable and consistent job history.
- Knowledge of employee relations and engagement strategies.
