Job Description
Location: Springfield, MA (Hybrid/Office-based)
Client: Leading Financial Services \& Insurance Provider
Are you an expert in the business owner market with a talent for translating complex financial strategies into actionable growth? We are recruiting for a powerhouse in the financial services industry that is looking to add a Senior Consultant to their Strategic Growth team.
In this high-impact role, you will serve as the primary subject matter expert for advisors looking to scale their practices within the business-owner segment. You will act as a bridge between the corporate home office and field partners, designing innovative insurance and investment solutions that address the unique lifecycle needs of entrepreneurs and corporate clients.
The Role:
- Strategic Advisory: Act as a high-level consultant to financial advisors, helping them navigate complex case designs and vetting strategies for business-owner clients.
- Market Leadership: Maintain a pulse on industry trends, competitor movements, and product innovations to keep the firm at the forefront of the market.
- Education \& Engagement: Create sophisticated educational resources and deliver compelling presentations (virtual and in-person) at workshops, conferences, and agency events.
- Relationship Management: Proactively engage with field staff and advisors to drive the adoption of the firm's suite of business solutions, including life insurance, disability, and HNW investment vehicles.
- Operational Excellence: Collaborate with internal departments—including Legal, Underwriting, Product, and Tax—to ensure a seamless client experience and optimized workflows.
What Our Client Is Looking For:
- Experience: At least 5\+ years in financial services, with a minimum of 3 years specifically focused on the business owner market (banks, wirehouses, or broker-dealers).
- Licensing: A Bachelor’s degree is required. Candidates should hold a FINRA Series 7 (or be willing to obtain it within the first year).
- Technical Savvy: Deep knowledge of life insurance, annuities, and complex investment vehicles used in business succession and HNW planning.
- Communication: A natural "wholesaler" mindset—someone who is as comfortable presenting on a stage as they are working through technical case details one-on-one.
- Mobility: Ability to travel up to 20% to engage with field partners and attend industry events.
Why Join This Team?
Our client is a household name known for its stability, ethical standards, and commitment to diversity. You will join a forward-thinking group that prioritizes professional development, offering access to high-level mentorship and a collaborative culture. They provide industry-leading compensation, comprehensive benefits, and a structured environment where your strategic input directly impacts the firm's market share.
